Softerm®
Modular for
Windows 3.1x, Windows NT
3x, 4x 2000 and for Windows 9x.
Before
downloading please read the following instructions:
The Softerm Modular
shareware version is limited in number of emulations and time
of operation. To purchase a full working version of Softerm
Modular please call (800) 225-8590 or send email to sales@softronics.com.
Softerm
Modular can now be ordered, downloaded, and installed online.
Ordering Softerm Modular can be accomplished by calling (800)
225-8590 or by clicking here to order. Fill in the
information and a sales person will either call or email you
with download and installation directions.
If you are ready to download Softerm Modular then
follow the steps below.
It's as easy as "one two three".
- Start by creating a
temporary install folder on your computer
(if you have one already you may skip this step).
- Open up the
"My Computer Icon" (double click will open it).

Next select the drive you wish to create the temporary
folder on (double click on the drive).
- Use your secondary (Right) mouse button to open up a menu in the explorer window
(click once then let go).
- Click primary (left) mouse button
once on the menu entry "New".
- Point and select the menu entry for
"Folder". This will create and highlight a
"New Folder". You may rename the folder if you
choose to whatever you wish. This will be where you will
want to place your Softerm Modular install file.
- Once you have a install
folder ready then just click Here
to download. Follow the browser
instuctions and save the
file in the install folder you have created. The install
program file size is 4.7 megabytes and will take about 25
minutes to download on a 28.8 modem connection.
- Installing Softerm Modular
is easy.
- Disconnecting from the internet and
close all unnessesary programs.
- Next, Select and run the
downloaded executable (Modular.exe) simply by double clicking on it
with your primary mouse button
- either run dialogue box that
is in your "Start Menu" locate and run the
install directly by typing in the location (or use the
browse button to find the file) and then click on okay.
- If
you choose you can open the "My Computer" icon
and navigate the hard drive to the install folder you
created and or selected that contains
the executable file.
- Read and follow the
license agreement and any instructions.
